I have been involved with InConcert Sierra for several years. It is a wonderful organization that presents primarily classical music performances, with plans to expand its programming once the Crown Point Venues project is completed. Founded in 1946, InConcert Sierra has grown significantly over the past three decades under the guidance of Artistic Director Ken Hardin, Executive Director Julie Hardin, a devoted board of directors, dedicated volunteers, and generous community support.
I am also proud to play a role in the development and construction of Crown Point Venues, the future home of InConcert Sierra. Our region has a rich artistic community, and this impressive new facility will bring even more cultural events and creative opportunities to the area
Grass Valley Male Voice Choir (GVMVC)
I am proud to be a member of the Grass Valley Male Voice Choir. Originally formed as a Celtic choir, the ensemble has expanded its repertoire to encompass a wide variety of choral traditions. Artistic Director George Husaruk brings a lifetime of musical experience, and the choir presents two major annual concerts each May and late November, along with appearances at community events throughout the year.
